Job description
Webuild is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst for its branch in Bucharest.
The resource will guarantee the correct accounting procedures of the Branch Offices, in compliance with the laws in force and with the instructions and procedures issued by the AFC Manager and Chief Accountant.
Responsibilities include In details:
• Provide support on all accounting matters and in the preparation of the Group Reporting package and other reporting requests by HO;
• Maintaining and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts, analyzing various transactions, and preparing monthly, quarterly or annual financial statements;
• Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations;
• Preparing financial analyses and reports and maintaining the general ledger;
• Assist with preparing and monitoring budgets and with annual audit preparations;
• Support the Tax Specialist in the preparation of the fiscal reports;
• Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned and reviewing journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy;
Requirements
University or Master’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent, preferable if certified as a chartered accountant;
5-10 years' experience in the same role preferably in the large complex infrastructure sector or accounting firms;
Good knowledge of general accounting rules, Romanian Gaap, the knowledge of IAS/IFRS will be consider a plus;
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel/PowerPoint), the knowledge of SAP will be consider a plus;
Fluent in English;
Excellent relational skills;
