Job description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Road Engineer to oversee and manage the design, construction, and maintenance of road projects. The successful candidate will ensure that all road projects are designed, constructed, and maintained in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the design, construction, and maintenance of road projects.
  • Develop and implement road design plans, specifications, and construction methods.
  • Conduct geotechnical and pavement analyses for road projects.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (including European and Romanian road legislation), as well as health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with project stakeholders, contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Review and identify any potential issues or concerns in project plans.
  • Monitor construction progress and adjust schedules as necessary to ensure timely project completion.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to confirm that work adheres to required standards.
  • Prepare progress reports and communicate project status to senior management.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project team members, including site supervisors and construction workers.
  • Identify and resolve issues that arise during the construction process in a timely and effective manner.
  • Advanced knowledge of artificial tunnels built with mechanized methodology and cut-and-cover techniques.
  • In-depth understanding of various road reinforcement methodologies.


Requirements

  • Must have experience in the infrastructure field.

Qualifications and Required Programs:

  • Proficiency in Autocad Civil 3D
  • Full Microsoft Office Suite
  • Microsoft Project
