We are looking for a Senior Cost Controller for a major road infrastructure project in Romania, to join in our Webuild team, in Timisoara.

• Monthly actual/target cost comparisons based on the established work estimation/forecast/budget;

• Interpretation of the cost comparisons and follow up the economical objectives of the company;

• Interpretation of the deviations;

• Preparation of the bid reorganization, budget and the forecast of the project in accordance with the agreed WBS/WBE;

• Preparation of cost analysis simulation backed by empirical data that aims at improving production and reducing risk contribution to the overall project success;

• Conduct Earned value and Gap Analysis;

• Preparation of the revision of the analyses of all project activities, factoring achieved performance in relation to new economic targets in order to anticipate recurrent forecasts;

• Preparation of analysis on the performance trends to support financial decision;

• Preparing work budgets, working with cost centers and cost accounts, follow up budgets

• Actual/target performance on site activities, actual/target material consumptions, actual/target comparison service providers and equipment;

• Manages and analyses work packages together with Cost Control Manager and Work Package Owners;

• Ensures support in periodical Project Reviews preparation with all the relevant economical analysis;

• Ensures support and prepares budget estimations, supports the analysis and control of the project cost variance and project result variance in order to optimize the project margin;

• Follows up and analyzes cash in the project;

• Responsible for project related reporting in the internal ERP systems (Vision, SAP, TM1);

• Assures assistance to all financial and economical processes;

• Preparation of monthly reporting together with the Cost Control Manager.

• Strong ability to analyze financial data and identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Experience in a similar role within the infrastructure construction sector, minimum of 3 years.

• High level of accuracy in managing and reporting financial data.

• Familiarity with cost control software and financial reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SAP).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey financial information.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Aptitude for identifying and addressing financial discrepancies or inefficiencies.
