Job description

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor - Lean Construction for a major road infrastructure project in Romania, to join in our Webuild team.

  • Preparing production reports daily/monthly with graphs and progress on site for Lean Manager,

  • Measuring and valuing the work done on site day-to-day,

  • Update of quantities to be executed by category of works from the list of quantities, in accordance with the Technical Execution Project,

  • Monitoring production on site including subcontractors, construction progress and any changes which may impact execution,

  • Calculating production rates for executed quantities to create an estimated achievable project timeframe,

  • Making projections with lean principles to optimize resource allocation and reduce non-value-added activities,

  • Preparation of pre-measurements and list of quantities in accordance with the technical execution project

  • Establish and track productivity, and project timelines, ensuring alignment with Lean goals.

 



Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with exposure to Lean construction practices.

  • Certifications: Professional membership (RICS or equivalent) is preferred. 

  • Knowledge of Lean Construction methods is an advantage.
