Job description

Webuild is looking for a Quality Engineer to join our QHSE team in our offices, based in Bucharest. The resource will report directly to the Country QHSE Coordinator and plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products and processes.

Responsible for developing and implementing quality systems, conducting audits and inspections, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve continuous improvement.

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control and quality assurance procedures;

• Drafting of the Project Quality Plan, procedures and Quality Control Plans;

• Analysis of project quality data: Key Performance Indicator (KPI), Non-Conformity Report (NCR), Lessons Learnt;

• Advice and support during root cause investigation, corrective/preventive actions and change control of procedures and processes;

• Conduct internal audits and inspections to identify and address potential quality issues;

• Analyze quality data and trends to identify areas for improvement;

• Manage and control quality-related documents, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility;

• Provide training and support to staff on quality procedures and standards;

• Participate in the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 and 45001 quality management systems;

• Stay informed of current quality standards and best practices;

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, production, and sales, to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle;

• Identify and recommend corrective actions for identified deficiencies in quality systems;

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.

 



Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field;

• 2-3 years of experience in a quality engineering role;

• Solid understanding of ISO 9001 and 45001 standards;

• Experience with document control and management systems;

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite;

• Experience with quality management software is a plus;

• Good knowledge of written and spoken English;

• Availability to travel on Project Worksites.
