Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
Conduct in-depth discussions and evaluate customer needs in order to seek new sales opportunities to the existing customers
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
Prepare reports on account status
Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Collaborate with team members (Sales, Services, Support) to achieve the best results
Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
Help scale the sales organization through operational innovation.
Requirements
Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role in the Business Software or similar industry.
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
Very good understanding of marketing, sales processes and negotiating techniques
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
You have product intuition and business understanding and are able to position how BITSoftware provides different value to different customers depending on their role and industry.
You have exceptional storytelling skills, regardless of context - you feel comfortable pitching BITsoftware to anyone, anywhere.
You have excellent time and project management skills.
You are adaptable and perform in rapidly changing situations where you can think independently.
You have strong analytical capabilities complemented by superior written and verbal communication skills.
